The Virgin Active development team decided that the existing squash courts needed to give way for new spinning labs so we were consigned to remove all the squash courts. The removal of these squash courts were not going to be easy, with the concrete walls at 8m high, we had to use full height scaffolding and we could only work at night starting at 9pm and finishing at 6am

The management approached us to design these offices but we were not happy that we could deliver the brief they had asked for. So we decided to change things up and introduced them to a warehouse in Lindbro Park just 5 minutes away. This warehouse was 2000m2 with the rental per m2 at half of the Woodmead offices and they did not have to pay for the 60 parking bays that came with the property. With the extra 1000m2 area to play with our designers went to town and the pictures say it all.

We constructed a huge air-conditioned internal office space within the warehouse for the call centre. The entire company fitted in perfectly and they still had room for expansion. With all the extra space we could offer the client a huge entertainment area, including a large bar, table tennis, darts, foosball table and even a boxing punching bag. We completed the project in 8 weeks
