Blackberry’s agent approached us to build their new South African Head Office in building 2. Having just finished RX Global’s new offices in building 1 (Then known as Reed Exhibitions – Decorex SA), we were ready to take on another exciting project. The design process was a true collaboration, with design meetings taking place over Skype with Blackberry’s team members based in Canada, the UK, and the Middle East.

We were proud to be appointed as the main contractor and agent, and we certainly rose to the challenge Implementing extensive design protocols, including a high-tech security system, we embarked on the construction phase with great enthusiasm. To top it off, we had the added responsibility of supplying all of their furniture.

Despite the distance, the entire process went off without a hitch, and we were able to hand over the contract even before Blackberry’s project team could fly out to South Africa for the official handover. It was both inspiring and rewarding to have worked on such a groundbreaking and international project.
